It is well known that well watering occurs long before oil reserves are depleted due to the formation of water channels behind the production casing.
When wells are watered out, not only a part of oil remains in the reservoir, but also the cost of a tons of produced oil increases significantly.
In this connection, the fight against well watering becomes one of the most urgent, because at present, in the oil industry as a whole, the watering of well products is about 70% and this figure tends to increase.
Waterproofing works with polymer material “BOT polymer Technology”
“BOT polymer Technology” is a chemically cross-linked anionic polyacrylamide with high molecular weight and sufficient gelling strength. It does not dissolve in water but swells in water. The gelled structure has high strength and pressure drop capability greater than known gelled systems.
